1;2;1 Sewing machine lessons
Come join me in the studio for a 2 hour sewing session, this is perfect if you want to learn how to use a sewing machine or are feeling stuck on a project and want some support.
You can also bring along the machine you have sitting in it’s box, which you are apprehensive to use. I’ll show you how to set it up, and we’ll use it to work on a basic project of your choice!
What does a session look like?
The goal of the session is to get you feeling more confident and excited about sewing, so the sessions will be tailored to your sewing needs (please add any notes in the request form!)
In a beginner session we will cover the basic skills needed to use a sewing machine, whilst working on one of the three projects:
Lined, crossbody bag
Cushion cover
Mending and altering
All projects will include how to thread-up a machine, standard stiches and understanding thread tensions, as well as common problems and solutions.
If you are looking for support on a specific project please add this as a comment in the enquiries box.
