Corporate Workshops
We run workshops & talks for organisations and businesses. Our goal is to create reflective spaces where people can learn practical skills and connect with themselves, each other and the clothes they wear
. . .
We offer inclusive hands-on workshops, team building afternoons, and thought-provoking talks. Each experience offers a chance to chat, learn, and reflect together - with sustainability naturally at the centre.
Why book a workshop with us?
-
Our workshops support more than just craft, they cultivate wellbeing and nurture a calm and collaborative working culture.
Open communication and genuine dialogue are key to a happy and thriving workplace - and sewing is the perfect facilitator! Crafting creates a relaxed and collaborative environment where free conversation flows easily between stitches.
On top of that, needlework is rhythmic, repetitive and absorbing - it gives the brain a rest and invites presence. We offer a moment of calm and restoration within the busy work day. -
According to a YouGov survey, 54% of Britons would rather be working than take part in their company’s team-building activities. Worse still, for employees, the words typically associated with team building are ‘dread’, ‘cringe’ and ‘embarrassing’. We want to change that.
Team-building does not have to be competitive, performative and physical. Our workshops are creative and low-pressure - no icebreakers, no awkward games. Just shared focus and space for everyone to take part in a way that feels natural - whether you're outgoing or more reflective.
-
Sustainability values are a key factor in where people choose to work and why they stay. And yet, only 17% of employees feel their companies are currently providing enough tools & education to support sustainability efforts.
Our workshops help to bridge that gap by bringing people into hands-on, personal contact with sustainability through practical skill-building and active reflection surrounding clothing and consumption.

Mending Workshops
Learn to keep your clothes out of landfill and in your wardrobes with hand-sewing techniques. In learning how to mend, we take ownership of our clothes, extend their stories, and add something uniquely our own. These workshops are perfect for a sustainable activity afternoon and easily adapted to all skill levels.

Options include:
Shashiko
A Japanese visible mending technique used to repair tears while adding detail and texture.
Embroidery
A technique which offers a decorative way to cover holes or stains, turning flaws into features.
Darning
Ideal for wool jumpers and socks, this technique offers either a subtle personalised feature or a completely new dimension to your clothes.
Team Building Afternoons
This longer-format session combines practical creativity with space for reflection and connection.
We begin with a short demonstration of key techniques (embroidery, darning, sashiko, and beading) before team members choose one to apply to their own item or fabric provided by us. The session is self-paced and flexible, with stations for each technique so people can move around, explore, and help one another.
We also include our ‘Well-Worn Wardrobes’ reflection activity where we invite participants to share their stories, using ideas around identity, relationships and culture to highlight the significance of where our clothes come from and how we wear them.
There will also be the opportunity for everyone to try out other techniques they didn’t use the first time around.
This can be tailored to your team’s needs.

Talks & Guest Speaker Events
Founder Weronika shares the thinking behind Weaving Change - born out of frustration with an industry that constantly tells us to consume more, while quietly shaping how we see ourselves. Drawing on personal experiences and years of reflection, she explores how fast fashion impacts our identity, confidence, and relationship with value.
This 30-minute talk doesn’t just highlight what’s wrong with the system - it offers a new lens entirely. One that invites people to rethink their connection to clothes, creativity, and self-worth, beyond trends or guilt. It’s honest, thought-provoking, and leaves you seeing things differently.
Talks can also be followed by an open Q&A. This is perfect for Lunch & Learns, sustainability weeks, or employee engagement programmes.
